Colors do make a difference. These are the colors we've found best under different conditions.

Clear water - White, Blue, Black, Pink
Cloudy water - Chartreuse or Yellow
Bright Sunny Day - (Clear water)-pink, (Cloudy water)-chartreuse
Cloudy Day - (Clear water)-Blue, (Cloudy water)-Green
Nite Fishing - Blue or Silver

Tip: Use this rig to troll or bobber fish with a minnow, leech or crawler. If the fish are hitting slugish, drop the rod tip back before setting the hook.

Tip: Use this rig to "slow-float" baits off the boat. Single hook rigs fished slow usually require fishing an "open" bail and feeding line. If the fish are hitting hard, dropping the rod tip back may be enough.
